About me

I’m a Leadership Consultant based in Cardiff, UK.

For over 20 years I have helped leaders develop and thrive, and have witnessed the positive impact their success has on individuals, organisations and communities.

I help my clients reflect, focus and then act on the real and challenging issues that are holding back their progress. 

Having been part of the coaching and training sector all my working life, I’m deeply committed to learning as a tool for transformational change.

The leaders that I choose to work with are not afraid of change. They are willing to lead by example and are kind and respectful. They focus on achieving positive results for the greater good not just the few, and lean towards a transformational and connective style of leadership. These are the leaders that cause positive societal changes, and I am proud to work with them.

How I work with my clients

Every client and organisation is different. Therefore, a key part of my work is understanding the environment as well as the individual and working out what will help them best to move on and grow.

I use a combination of coaching, training and leadership techniques according to the situation. These include: Active Listening, Action Learning Facilitation, cognitive-behavioural techniques, Mindfulness, group coaching, Collaborative Leadership techniques, collaborative working facilitation, team coaching, team development and, coaching training.

Professional development and understanding the theory behind practical usage is very important to me. Therefore, I have the following qualifications and awards:

Over the past 10 years, I have trained over 200 individuals to become coaches, coaching supervisors and leaders, or action learning facilitators, on courses I have written and developed. These courses are endorsed to ILM Levels 4, 6 or 7.

I now mainly run these courses in-house and do open courses only a couple of times a year.
